Austin Healeys for sale at Silverstone Auctions Race Retro Auction 2023

Race Retro brings together over 24,000 fans, drivers and enthusiasts at the start of the competition calendar for a weekend of all things motorsport. As the show’s official auction partner for the 11th year, Silverstone Auctions are presenting a magnificent range of Competition, Collectors’ and Classic cars for auction.

I visited the Race Retro Show today (Friday 24th February) and took special pleasure in looking around the very interesting cars that Silverstone Auctions had on display. I was struck by the relatively large number of Austin Healeys that were up for auction, so much so, that I am publishing this special report for all the AH enthusiasts that are on the CSI mailing list.

Here they are –

Lot 472 -1959 Austin Healey Sprite. Estimated Price – £15,000 – 20,000. Editors comment – this is one of the smartest, non-modified, AH Mk I Sprites I have seen. I would expect the estimate to be exceeded.

Lot 441 – 1956 Austin Healey 100M BN2. Estimate – £120,000 – 140,000

Lot 341 – 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mk. II. Works Rally replica. Estimate – £60,000 – 70,000.

Lot 411 – 1954 Austin Healey 100 BN1 with Le Mans Kit. Estimate – £50,000 – 60,000

Lot 341 – 1961 Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I to rally specification. Estimate £65,000 – 75,000.
