The 2023 ‘Jaguars at Gaydon’ day took place on Saturday 2 September. I was privileged to be able to attend this event for the first time and based on my experience I can endorse the organiser’s claim that this “is a friendly and informal gathering for all Jaguar fans”. Now in its fourth year, the show is a joint collaboration between the the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT) and the British Motor Museum and supported by all the leading Jaguar owners’ clubs.

This year’s event featured three key anniversaries: 100 years of Le Mans, the rescheduled 30 years of XJ220 birthday bash, and 50 years of Jaguar XJC. The Museum, as host to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection, is in a unique position to delight Jaguar enthusiasts with examples of all these important icons of Jaguar’s uniquely rich history. You will see below the photographs that I was able to to take of these stunning cars, together with some lovely Jaguars owned by private individuals –

That is just a flavour of the ‘Jaguars at Gaydon’ day 2023. If you were there I hope that this report reminds you of what an enjoyable day you had and if you were not there, perhaps it has given you a desire to be there next year.
