American Car Show, Hatton, Warwickshire 2015

American Cars on show at Hatton Country Park

Once again I traveled the six miles from my house to the Hatton Country World venue, this time by bike, to see the American Cars on display. They Included my next door neighbour’s Ford Torino and his friend Jason’s Buick Special (see last year’s post).

With this blog in mind I did wonder if it was worth me going because I imagined that most of the cars on display would be the same ones that were there last year.
I couldn’t have been more wrong. I am sure that some of the cars were the same as last year but there were a lot of new ones too. Very much worth going. Here are a few photos –

Cadillac Owners Club of Great Britain –

1968 DeVille Coupe
Paul, who can be seen at the front, has only owned this car for three months.
Before that it was owned by one person in the USA before being imported by
a U.k. dealer this year. By coincidence soon after buying it Paul was reading a copy of ‘Classic American Cars’ magazine and saw an article on a car very similar to his.
On reading further he realised that it was his car. The magazine had contacted the importer when the car first arrived in the U.K. What a coincidence! and what a lovely car.
