At the end of a beautiful, winding country ‘A’ road, suitable for many of the cars on display, lies the Georgian mansion – Burford House.
This gem in the Worcestershire countryside is home to an outlet of British Garden Centres, located within the walled garden of Burford House. It was here that I was delighted to see an eclectic range of motor cars. There were classic Rolls Royces from the Revd. Dr. John F Kennedy’s collection and another Rolls Royce that no doubt would have both those great men turning in their graves! it’s a matter of choice I guess, see what I mean below. There were more modern classics such as a Shelby GT 500, a Renault Sport Spider and a Lotus Elan, there was even a recently launched Citroen Ami.
As those of you living in the UK can testify, July 2023 was one of the wettest and coldest on record, August started in much the same way. The organisers must have got their prayer mats out, on a typically rainy Saturday, to ask for good weather on the day of the show. Their efforts were richly rewarded, we could not have hoped for a better day, with bright warm sunshine. Not the best weather for photographing cars but enjoyable nonetheless. Here are my, dapple effect, efforts –

When is a Ferrari not a Ferrari?

And when is an Austin Healey 3000 not an Austin Healey 3000?

It wasn’t all about cars, there was this excellent ladies’ choir – www.got2sing.co.uk
That’s all folks!
