The beautiful Dalemain Estate will again host The Cumbria Classic and Motorsport Show this year on Sunday 23rd August. This event, organised by the Wigton Motor Club, has been held since 1989 with the Rose & Thistle Classic Tour taking place on Saturday and the Cumbria Classic and Motorsport Show on Sunday.
It attracts around 800 cars to a day packed full of entertainment. All cars attending receive a souvenir slate coaster and winners of the Concours categories are presented with uniquely appropriate plaques.
There are auto tests, arena displays, traders, music and discounted tickets to the Dalemain house and gardens.
Becuse of possible traffic congestion, the organisers advise that visitors should approach Dalemain from the Ullswater side of the A592 rather than the Rheged roundabout.
