DESCRIPTION:The British Motor Museum has announced that the popular Gaydon Gatherings will once again take place during 2026. These events are held on the second Tuesday of every month between April and October. They present a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow motoring enthusiasts and admire some incredible vehicles.  \nThe Museum itself will not be open during these evenings. Toilet facilities will be available. The gates will open at 5 pm for cars to arrive\, the Gaydon Garage feature will take place at 6.30 pm.  \nTickets\nTickets are FREE and will be available a few weeks before the event.  \nPre-booking is essential\nTo help BMM manage the evening this is a ticket only event with limited numbers. If you turn up without a ticket you may not be allowed to enter. \nAs numbers are limited\, if you have reserved a ticket but later decide you no longer wish to attend the event please let BMM know so that your ticket(s) can be reallocated. \nBOOK TICKETS FOR THE NEXT ‘GATHERING’  \nTickets will be a available shortly before each event. SUMMARY:Rootes Heritage Day at Gaydon - 19 July 2026
DESCRIPTION:“How time flies” is a common expression but very appropriate when applied to the Rootes Heritage Day. The 2026 event will be its fifth\, truly amazing!  Organised by the Rootes Archive Centre Trust (RACT)\, once again it will be held in the car park of the British Motor Museum\, Gaydon. It presents an excellent opportunity to celebrate Classic Rootes Group vehicles e.g. Hillmans\, Humbers\, Singers and Sunbeams together with Commer and Dodge commercials. It is always a great pleasure to see pre Rootes Group versions of Wolverhampton built Sunbeams and London built Talbots.
