Iconic Auctioneers Cars at the Race Retro sale 2025

Iconic Auctioneers (formerly Silverstone Auctions) had a stunning range of cars and automobilia on display at this year’s Race Retro sale. I was privileged to be able to wander amongst them to take a few photos of cars that caught my eye. Iconic should be congratulated on the high quality of the presentation of the cars. There was one car that particularly attracted me because of my association with the marque; a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus, that, in my opinion, looked just as it would have done when it was in the dealer’s showroom (Arbury Motors) forty four years ago!! Well done the vendor and Iconic Auctioneers. That car sold for more than the guide price at £58,500 including premium.
