SUMMARY:Kop Hill Climb Festival 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Kop Hill Climb was first held in 1910 and soon established itself as one of the major events in the Motor Sport Calendar\, attracting many famous competitors and cars. In 1925 a recalcitrant spectator was struck by a motorcycle and sustained a broken leg. As a result\, the RAC withdrew its permission for the Hill Climb to be held\, as a competition\, again. \nToday it’s no longer a competition\, but a moving celebration of the history of the car and the motorcycle. A chance to marvel at over a hundred years of pioneering\, mechanical progress powered by steam\, gasoline\, electricity\, eccentricity and innovation. \nBUY SPECTATOR TICKETS NOW\nClicking on this button will take you to an KHCF/Eventbrite webpages \n\nFundraising from this event is distributed to local charities.
