The early months of Autumn often see some lovely sunny and warm days and evenings. Sadly, Tuesday 14th October 2025 wasn’t one of them, it was overcast with occasional drizzle and quite cool. I only mention that because, that not particularly encouraging weather, together with diminishing light, didn’t deter car enthusiasts from bringing their beloved cars to display for other enthusiast to enjoy.
I arrived at about 4.30 pm and the part of the British Motor Museum car park that had been reserved for display cars was already pretty full. I have been to a number of these “Gatherings” and each time have taken photos and published them on this website. The main purpose of me being at this Gathering was to meet a friend to discuss a future event he is organising. I hadn’t intended to take photos although I did have my small Sony Cybershot camera with me.
As soon as I reached the car display area and saw cars that caught my eye, I just couldn’t help myself, I pulled my camera from my pocket straight away. Having taken the photos it was second nature for me to share them with you here –
