DESCRIPTION:This classic car show has established itself as one of Warwick’s most popular annual events. \nIt’s a must for car enthusiasts but because it is held in and around the Town’s historic Market Square\, there is something to interest everyone. \nThe show attracts  100+ classic and retro cars; come along and enjoy the cars\, shops\, pubs\, cafes and museums. \nChat to the car owners and find out all about their cars\, their history and why they own them. It is our editor’s view that this is one of the most attractive features of this show\, it has a wonderful friendly ambience. \nIt’s Free for both visitors and exhibitors. DESCRIPTION:The Association of Healey Owners caters for Owners and Enthusiasts of cars that were built by the Donald Healey Motor company\, in Warwick\, UK\, between 1946 and 1954. These cars are also known as Warwick Healeys or pre-BMC/pre-Austin Healeys. \nJust to remind you\, those cars are – \n\nWestland drophead coupe.\nElliot 2 door saloon.\nDuncan 2 door saloon.\nSportsmobile 4 seater open sports car\nSilverstone 2 seater open sports racing car.\nTickford 2 door saloon.\nAbbot drophead coupe.\nNash Healey 2 seater open sports car.\nSports convertible/Alvis Healey.\n\nThe Silverstone model\, designed to be a reasonably priced club racer\, was launched in July 1949. \nIn recognition of that car’s seventieth anniversary members of the Association have decide to undertake a motoring tour taking in some historic locations associated with Donald Healey and his cars. At the same time taking the opportunity to say hello to members along the way. Eric was one of the previous owners and accomplished racing driver of ETR775 an Elliott recently restored and on the tour. Dinner and an overnight stay in Ramsgate staying at the Pegwell bay Hotel\, 81 Pegwell Rd\, Ramsgate CT11 0NJ \nWednesdays September 4th\nDrive to the National trust home of Rudyard kipling\, Batemans\, Bateman’s Ln\, Burwash\, Etchingham TN19 7DS for lunch hosted by Bill Cakebread with a few other classic owners joining us. \nAfternoon coastal drive to Bognor Regis for dinner hosted by Clive Willoughby at the Lamb\, 144 Pagham Rd\, Bognor Regis PO21 4NJ with overnight stay at The Aldwick hotel\, 25 Princess Ave\, Bognor Regis PO21 2QU. Display cars on private beach area at Aldwick Bay estate. \nThursday September 5th\nDrive to Chalton Marshall for lunch hosted by Richard Bonham Christie at the Charlton Inn\, Bournemouth Rd\, Charlton Marshall\, Blandford Forum DT11 9NH. Lunch is to be a buffet with a large number of local classic car owners joining us\, including Roger Crouch with an extremely rare and pretty Alvis-Healey \nAfternoon drive to stay in Exeter for dinner with local members\, staying at the White Hart Inn\, 66 South St\, Exeter EX1 1EE.
