My next door neighbour owns a 1973 Ford Gran Torino car (similar to the one used in the Starsky and Hutch T.V. series). He informed me last week that he was taking it to the annual American Car Show held at Hatton Country World near Warwick. This isn’t far from where we live, so, I resolved that if the weather was reasonable (it has been unusually wet, even for England, over the past couple of weeks) I would take the opportunity to photograph some of the cars being displayed.
Fortunately the weather was good this week-end, I was even able to mow the lawn! I visited the show on Sunday afternoon, it was a little cloudy, not the best conditions for photography but at least it didn’t rain.
There was a wide selection of Auto Americana on display from 1920’s model A Fords to a very curvaceous 2011 Chevrolet SSR Pick -up.
Here is a selection of the photos I took, more can be seen on the youtube link at the bottom of the page.
I hope you find them of interest.
With best wishes,
Twin – cam
