The MG marque was born 100 years ago. Beloved around the world, especially in the USA, an MG epitomised the sporting car for the everyman.
Join volunteers from the British Motor Museum as they trace the car’s history: from MG’s origin out of a volume manufacturer, through its most successful decades to an untimely demise arising from market challenges and underinvestment.
These external and internal forces were an industry hazard, and for many marques their story ends there. However, MG has risen from the ashes and may yet have further global success in the new automotive era … the story continues.
